QUILTED Wall Hanging?

I went and entered a Quilting Contest. I have to make a 30 x 30 quilt, and use some of he material they supplied me with %26quot;NO instructions%26quot;. The material is one of blue background with purple and orange butterflies. one is green with small whitish flowers, one if of different colours of vines..reminds me of fireworks %26quot;it%26#039;s so hard to find something with them colours%26quot; how to make it all come together and match? Which would be a wall hanging. It%26#039;s for a lily fest, so What I really want is a scene quilt, something that I can use on my wall after. We can use any embelishments we want, so I want to use buttons, lace, ribbon embroidery, and ribbon. I%26#039;m thinking of making some flowers out of fabric and basting to the background peice, some of the petals, with some still not sewed on, so it goes over the border and looks 3d lily maybe?

Please, I need to know how to make fabric flowers, and need templates.. can%26#039;t find a thing online.. been everywhere.

Perhap colouring pages, please help

QUILTED Wall Hanging?
Go to the library, there are books with dozens of patterns for everything. I checked out a book once that had at least 50 different flower patterns and templates for applique, but I dont remember the name, it was a very thick book though. At the library you can thumb through until you find what you%26#039;re looking for. If you dont find what you%26#039;re after in the quilting section, look for books about flowers and photocopy the ones you like to use as patterns, try the childrens%26#039; section also. The library is a very handy place!! (The book may have been %26quot;1000 Quilt Blocks%26quot; by Maggie McCormick, I was on Ebay and that one looked like the one)
